The inside of the medical ward wasn't too much better than the outside, surprisingly, but the numbness for his physical pain hadn't touched his emotions and the state of it all bothered him greatly. He nodded quietly, acknowledging Zero's empathy.
The hand to his forehead after he was settled out on the berth drew a quiet sigh from him and he closed his eyes for the duration of it, drawing in what comfort was offered. "Thank you."
Resting would be easier when he had overcome the shock of everything, but for now, at least he would remain still. He could do nothing else.
